WEEK 7. TRANSLATOR ROLE #soyer1718

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new week in our blog. I am Maravillas Álvarez Sánchez, playing the translator role this week.
According to the activities done this week, we have to highlight five concepts that we consider relevant:

-Before and after perspective: is a type of comic, that is, a type of artistic expression that is characterized by the integration of image and text, showing in the same vignette the before and after the situation represented. They always transmit the message clearly and concisely, and in a very visual way. It can include dialogue in the form of speech bubbles.

-Auca: it is a type of artistic document that is very popular in Catalan culture. It consists of 24 or 48 images boxed in a vignette, usually on a single sheet of paper, each of which is accompanied by two verses at the bottom of each vignette making a couplet. It can also happen that the image is a photograph. This Catalan artistic expression dates back to the 17th century. The oldest preserved specimen is l'Auca de Pere Abadal, in Moià (Bages, Catalonia) in 1670.

-TPACK: or Technological, Pedagogical, And Content Knowledge.  It is a model that identifies the types of knowledge that a teacher needs to integrate ICT in an effective way in the teaching that it imparts. The TPACK allows us to reflect on the strategies or methodologies that are being used in the classroom to effectively integrate ICT into educational processes.
It was developed between 2006 and 2009 by Professors Punya Mishra and Mattew J. Koehler of Michigan State University.

-Creative commons license: appears in 2002 with the aim of creating a series of free licenses on copyright. They are legal mechanisms that allow authors of documents, videos, images, music, among others, to share the content they create through the web, specifying how their work can be used. Thus, instead of having "All rights reserved", the contents become "Some rights reserved", which opens the possibility for users to use the content under the terms specified in the license.
Creative Commons licenses born to share and reuse creative works under certain conditions. With the Creative Commons licenses, the author authorizes the use of his work, but the work continues to be protected.

-Tips to make a good presentation: Making an oral presentation that captures the public's attention from beginning to end is a challenge.
First, we must take into account the purpose of our presentation and what the audience is going to expect from us. We have to take into account factors as well, such as what we are going to ignore and how we are going to transmit information. Regarding the presentation, determining how much time we are using and what we will use. Another of the most important tips to make a good presentation is interact with the public.

Finally, these are the main concepts and ideas that my group and I have worked in class after seven weeks of
hard work. In my opinion, I am sure that these terms and ideas will be very useful to all my classmates and to me as future teachers.
