Hi everyone! I'm Roberto and this week I'm the facilitator of my group.
My post is going to be very brief. I would only like to say CONGRATS to my classmates because the video of STOP MOTION was awesome! What to say all the videos of our classmates. We enjoyed a lot and we had a good time recreating the 'Lindavision Contest'. I wish all the classes were like that.
Now I only wish the best of lucks to all the videos seeking likes in all the different networks. I'll let you know who is the winner.
Hope you enjoy all the videos typing #soyer17/18

JOURNALIST ROLE
Hi everyone! I am Maravillas and this week my role is the journalist. I have to admit that this is my favourite role because it allows me to express my ideas and explain what we have done this week. We are at the end of the course and my classmates and I are so nervous, and anxious about the imminent arrival of the exams. Next, I am going to tell you that we are doing, and we are learning in this week.
First of all, this week we have the next roles:
-Roberto: Facilitator.
-Diego: Star.
-Lola: Translator.
-María José: Curator-Farmer.
-Yassín: Analyst.
-Maravillas: Journalist.
On Monday, our teacher Linda explained us a new task. This task is about creating a stop motion to explain the Decalogue, about how are the basics of public education. So, we had to extract 10 ideas and present them in a visual way.
After the explanation of our teacher, our group started to work with the new roles of the week. All group members started reading the Decalogue and extracted ten ideas about public education. Then we tried to think about how to show the ideas in stop-motion format, and we thought that the best way was to make drawings, because it is very visual and we could clearly show the message.
That afternoon, Lola, María José and me took charge of doing the stop motion. Lola started making the drawings in a notebook, while María José and I took turns recording it. We coordinated very well and there were no problems. Although we were all afternoon because a stop-motion required a lot of time, we took around 1400 photos. I had never done so many pictures!
Once the stop motion was finished, we wrote a script about a girl named Emily who tells her experience in a public school. Yassín took charge of finishing to edit the video. We decided to do this script because we thought that we could transmit the message in a better way.
On Wednesday, we present our videos in Eurovision format and it was really fun. The stars of the groups were responsible for presenting the videos, explaining what message we wanted to convey with the videos but in a fun way. Then we evaluate the videos individually and finally by groups. Undoubtedly the most fun part was when the stars said the notes, because we all really remembered the Eurovision format, also thanks to the role of our teacher who did it very well. The evaluation was a time of great tension because all my classmates made very good videos, and it was very close, but finally, Spice Girl took first place. The second place was for……….. Universal teachers!!! We got to be among the three best groups, so we are so proud. Sometimes to recognize all the work done for a long time, gives strength to continue and strive even more, so we are very excited to be seconds, although we were close to reaching Spice Girls. The third place was for Fireproofessors, that also they did a very good job. Our teacher told us that the best video would have a prize, also the video that has more visits and likes on YouTube, therefore all the groups started to promote our videos in social networks.
Here I leave the link to our video: https://youtu.be/bNy9fnPTcTk
The next week will be different because on Monday we do not have class so I imagine that everybody feels strange this day without Soyer's work. I am sure that all my classmates will take advantage of these small holidays to study a lot, so we do not have time to rest.
I hope you enjoy reading it. Write in the comments any doubt or question that you have, we will very grateful of answers all your comments. Thank you so much, and continue with this excellent work that you show us every week.

ANALYST ROLE
Hello there! And yet again it is I, Yassín, who will be this week's analyst, and I have some things to talk about.
At the beginning of the week, Linda told us to make a StopMotion where we tackle the 10 main ideas of the idea of public education for an Eurovision contest with a prize for the winner. At first, we were a bit nervous because we weren't sure how to make it. However, we got the idea to make it on paper and tell a story with drawings, this decision was perfect due to the fact that when drawing, the sky's the limit!
This particular activity not only allowed us to learn how to put information in a StopMotion but also showed us just how far public education can get if it gets the resources it needs, showing us almost endless potential to the public educational system.
When our project was created, edited and ready, the Eurovision contest began in class. We basically had to rate the other teams' StopMotions with the same scoring system. If I had to say, I'd say that Linda chose this Eurovision method to engage us (or at least those of us who watch and actually enjoy the show) and foster some, but not too much, competition between groups.
In the end, I must say that this week's task was probably the most effective for me when it comes to actual learning. Not only that but this whole Eurovision thing made things better and way more enjoyable than what I was expecting, and I don't even like Eurovision!
CURATOR-FARMER ROLE
Hello everyone! I'm María José and this week I'm in charge of the role of curator-farmer. Here are the references used by my group this week:
STAR ROLE
Hi everyone, I am Diego and this week I have been the star of our group. When I arrived to the university, I realized that this task would be like a Eurovision contest so as a start, I should present my group as I were a contest presenter. To do this as well as possible, I decided not to prepare anything, so when I got to class on Wednesday, I was really nervous because it would be the first time that I will present without preparation.
When my turn arrived, I decided to rustle up everything, so I was just myself and I think it didn't turn out bad for our group so I am very happy.
I can't wait to know the task to be performed next week.
See you next week.
Bye
TRANSLATOR ROLE
Hi everyone, I'm Lola and this week I am in charge of carrying out the most relevant concepts of our activity, in this case, the ideal characteristics of a new Education Law.
Stop motion: The stop motion is an animation technique that consists of pretending the movement of static objects by means of a series of successive still images. For the animation you can use any material, malleable dolls (play dough), solid objects or even natural persons. We must bear in mind that in each picture we take there must be a small modification to make the movement.
Decalogue for a new education law: This is a set of rules that should be applied in the educational field to achieve a utopian Education Law. Among its fundamental principles we find equity, attention to diversity, etc.
Inclusive education: Inclusive education has the purpose of providing educational attention that favors the maximum possible development of all the students and the cohesion of all the members of the community. To do this, students must be educated in respect for Human Rights, and families and the educational center must be involved in these processes, and work collaboratively.
Pedagogical autonomy of educational centers: Own autonomy margin that allows them to adapt their actions to their specific circumstances and to the characteristics of their students, with the aim of achieving the school success of all students. It is necessary that the regulations combine both aspects, establishing the common rules that all have to respect (general framework in which the educational activity must be carried out) as well as the space of autonomy that has to be granted to the teaching centers.
Early schooling: free offer of quality, giving Childhood Education and Primary Education the importance they deserve as basic pillars of the entire educational process and ensuring a comprehensive education of personalized attention at all levels. This means that children from early childhood to be educated and they will have the right to receive this education for free.
I hope you enjoyed our weekly work as we have done the best we could and with great effort!
See you next week!
